Here at Love That Wedding! we are committed to creating unforgettable wedding-related events and showcasing the finest wedding suppliers. We appreciate how important your privacy is and recognise that we are being trusted with protecting it, so the purpose of this privacy notice is to give you a clear explanation about how we collect and use your personal data through your use of this website - www.lovethatwedding.com. This includes any data you may provide when using our website, registering your attendance at or booking into any shows/events, when you contact us over the phone, by email or through our social media platforms, sign up to any of our mailing lists or take part in a competition / questionnaire / survey. It is important that you read this privacy notice so that you are fully aware of how and why we are using your data.

Our website is not intended for children under the age of 16 and we don’t knowingly collect data relating to children.

Love That Wedding! is part of the Love That Group! and we want to reassure you that we are 100% committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of all visitors to our website - www.lovethatwedding.com - and everyone signing up to our mailing lists. Your privacy is of paramount importance to us and under no circumstances will we EVER sell / rent / share your personal information with ANY other business or company, for the purpose of marketing – that just isn’t how we work.

In line with the new GDPR Regulations (effective Friday 25th May 2018), we’ve provided in this Privacy Policy, details of how we collect your personal information, when we collect your personal information, why we collect it and how we use it – the limited conditions under which we may disclose it to others and how we keep it secure.

The information we collect helps us to understand your needs and in particular we collect and use it for the following reasons :

  • to tell you about upcoming shows/events that may be of interest to you
  • to facilitate any show/event bookings you have made
  • to provide further information relating to events you have booked/registered to attend
  • to share with you news relating to our Love That! Loves Recommended Suppliers
  • to invite you to enter any competitions we’re running
  • to let you know about any special offers we think you may like
  • for our own internal record keeping

From time to time, we may also use your information to contact you by email for market research purposes.

As part of the registration process for our e-newsletter, we collect personal information. We use that information for a couple of reasons; to tell you about stuff you’ve asked us to tell you about; to contact you if we need to obtain or provide additional information; to check our records are right and to check every now and then that you’re happy and satisfied. We use a third-party provider, MailChimp, to deliver our newsletter. You can unsubscribe to general mailings at any time of the day or night by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails.

All personal details relating to subscriptions are held securely and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. No personal details are passed on to third parties nor shared with companies / people outside of the company that operates this website.

BOOKINGS & PAYMENTS

We sometimes use third-party payment/booking providers, to facilitate payments for bookings through our website - these being PayPal and/or Eventbrite. Our privacy policy does not cover any external websites – for more information, please see PayPal’s privacy notice and see Eventbrite's privacy notice. We do not store any debit/credit card details. We operate a no refund policy. Please be aware that when paying for events via PayPal or Eventbrite you will leave this website in order to complete your transaction. We cannot be held responsible for anything that occurs outside of our own site.

Our websites include links to external websites, plug-ins and applications. Clicking on those links or enabling those connections may allow other organisations to collect or share data about you. We do not control these external websites and are not responsible for their privacy statements or for the protection and privacy of any information which you provide whilst visiting such sites. SOCIAL MEDIA

As with most businesses, we use social media platforms to help raise awareness of our activities. Each social media platform has its own respective privacy policy and terms and conditions – our does not cover such external sites/platforms. Occasionally we will announce competition winner’s names on social media platforms (with your permission), but under no circumstances will any sensitive or personal contact information be shared. This website, nor its owners, will ever ask you to supply personal or sensitive information through social media platforms. Instead we encourage users wishing to discuss sensitive details to contact us through a more secure means of communication ie. by telephone or email.
